Remote Learning - Year 1 & 2
Welcome to the Remote Learning Information Page for Year 1 & 2.
Miss Dennison, Miss Fawcett, Miss Lambert and Miss Watson are still looking after your children during this lockdown. Miss Fawcett is teaching Year 1 children in school and Miss Dennison is teaching Year 2 children in school, both supported by Mrs Burdett, Mrs Bingley and Mrs Kesharwani.
Each week, like the previous lockdown, we will contact you to check that everything is going well and to see if there is anything else we can do to help. Please be aware they may phone from a no caller ID number. Furthermore, Miss Lambert and Miss Watson will be available through Google Classroom marking the children's work and answering questions during the day. Please bear in mind that whilst Year 1 & 2 teachers will be available on ClassDoJo, they are in class during the day so it may take a while to respond to your queries. Don't forget that you can message our admin team via MCAS with urgent queries.
If children are self-isolating, they must still complete work daily following the timetable of their year group and return ALL work through Google classroom so that the teacher can give summary feedback about areas for improvement.
If the year group bubble has to close, children MUST move to remote learning and continue to follow the timetable.
Below you will find a range of information to help at home. This includes a weekly tab, which includes a PowerPoint about all the work the children have been completing both at home and at school. There is also a video about the following week and what is coming up!
